FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Deep Trouble drops fourth studio album Bolo
A final chapter in their four-album saga

Genre-Bending Rock Band Explores the Anatomy of Trouble with Ska, Disco, Punk and Sci-Fi Grooves

Canadian rock band Deep Trouble announces the release of their highly anticipated fourth studio album, Bolo – a bold, genre-blurring record and the final installment in their ambitious four-album cycle. Taking its name from the law enforcement acronym “Be On the Lookout,” Bolo is a sonic and lyrical deep-dive into the sources and symptoms of human turmoil. It asks the question: “What do you do when you’re surrounded by trouble?” The answer, according to Deep Trouble, is part dance party, part existential reckoning.

Over the course of ten tracks, Bolo blends ska and disco beats, punk grit, and sci-fi synth textures, pushing Deep Trouble’s signature sound into bold new territory. The result is their most evolved and eclectic release to date, a chaotic but cohesive fusion that feels both fun and foreboding. Lyrically, Bolo skewers the egos and idiocy that fuel our current moment. From blistering takedowns of self-obsessed narcissists to sympathetic portraits of lovable losers who can’t seem to get it together, the album captures the absurd, messy reality of life on the edge.

“This record is about keeping your eyes open,” says the band. “It’s about identifying what’s toxic — in the world, in others, in yourself — and figuring out how to dodge, confront, or dance through it.”

Bolo follows the band’s rapid-fire release of three previous full-length albums since their 2023 debut, earning Deep Trouble a loyal following and a reputation for relentless creativity. With 14 official music videos and dozens of live performances across British Columbia, the band has become known for their fearless blend of rock and performance art.

Fans can stream Bolo on all major platforms starting May 20, 2025, with accompanying visuals and behind-the-scenes content rolling out on the band’s YouTube and social channels.

Stay tuned. Be on the lookout. Trouble never sleeps.
